Lens chief claims Varane bids rejected

Lens president Gervais Martel claims he has rejected bids of over €10million for teenage centre-back Raphael Varane from "big overseas clubs".



Varane emerged as a regular for Lens in the 2010-11 campaign, though his side were relegated from Ligue 1 after finishing second from bottom.
