Jamaica began their Gold Cup campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win over unfancied Grenada at California's Home Depot Centre.

Having scored only once in the three matches in the last Gold Cup two years ago, Jamaica went into the game with coach Theodore Whitmore calling for a more ruthless edge in front of goal.

They had plenty of chances against Grenada and found the net after 21 minutes when Luton Shelton deftly slotted home Rudolph Austin's pass.
