Hammers consider tweet action

West Ham are taking a lead in considering how best to tackle inappropriate Twitter usage after a spate of problems in the game generally and at Upton Park in particular.

• Cole accepts FA charge

While respecting the players' right to freedom of speech, the Hammers board feel boundaries must be established about how this relates to the internet, and tweeting has suddenly became a major issue as it gets out of hand.
