Brandao close to Cruzeiro deal

Marseille have revealed they are close to reaching an agreement for striker Brandao to join Cruzeiro on loan.

The Brazilian side announced on their website that the 31-year-old would return to his homeland on a temporary deal until the end of the year.

But a statement on OM's own site read: "OM indicate that no document has yet been signed concerning the eventual departure of Brandao to the Brazilian club.
