Atlas smash five past Morelia

Atlas opened their Torneo Clausura campaign in grand fashion with a 5-0 drubbing of Morelia.

Gerardo Espinoza scored twice and there were also goals for Wilman Conde, Christian Diaz and Daniel Osorno in a one-sided encounter.

Cruz Azul also started impressively with a 4-1 home win against Tecos.

Emanuel Villa and Christian Gimenez put them two up before Mauro Cejas' penalty made it 2-1. Marcelo Palau and Gonzalo Pineda, with a late spot-kick, sealed the points.
