Juventus request return of 2006 Scudetto

Juventus have requested that the two Serie A titles they lost due to the 2006 Calciopoli match-fixing scandal be returned to them.

The Old Lady were stripped of their 2005 and 2006 Scudetti in the aftermath of the controversy with Inter Milan being handed the 2006 trophy and the 2005 version being given to no one. They were also relegated to Serie B and lost players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluca Zambrotta to other teams.
