Tigres Monterrey thumped struggling Tecos 5-0 in the Mexican Apertura.

Juninho opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Itamar Batista made it two three minutes later.

Lucas Lobos added a third shortly before the half-hour mark and second-half strikes from Batista again and Damian Alvarez completed the rout.

Jaguares claimed a 2-0 win at home to Atlante.
