Young Socceroos off to flyer in China

Australia have made a perfect start to the AFC under-19 soccer championship in China, thrashing Yemen 4-1 in their opening match.

The Young Socceroos conceded the opening goal after just two minutes but they never looked back after Sydney FC's Kofi Danning levelled the scores little more than 10 minutes later.

Australia scored twice more before the break to lead 3-1, before English-based Matthew Fletcher finished the scoring in the 83rd minute.
