Italian side Palermo have expressed an interest in Celtic striker Georgios Samaras, who has found his first-team starts limited after Neil Lennon took interim charge of the club in March.

Samaras, who was bought from Manchester City and is set to represent Greece in the World Cup finals, has netted 36 goals since first moving to Celtic in January 2008.
