Sydney captain Corica announces retirement

Sydney FC skipper and former Australia international Steve Corica will bring the curtain down on a career spanning 21 years after today confirming his decision to retire at the end of the current A-League season.



The 36-year-old will play his last game in this weekend's crunch match with league leaders Melbourne Victory, which will determine who finishes top of the 2009-10 A-League table.
