Revolution's Reis undergoes knee surgery

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis has had surgery on his left knee.

Reis had a procedure to fix his quadriceps tendon Thursday at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The 34-year-old had rotator cuff surgery in December and has been rehabilitating since then. The shoulder injury is expected to keep him out 12-16 weeks. He should be recovered from the knee injury before then.
