Barcelona have bid turned down for Robinho

Barcelona have ruled out making a bid for Robinho in January after revealing they had a bid turned down for the player.

The Brazil international, who joined Manchester City from Barca's arch rivals Real Madrid in the summer of 2008, has been a long-term target for Pep Guardiola's side and the player himself has made no secret of his desire to return to La Liga.
