FC Porto cleared to play in Champions League

Portuguese champions Porto have been cleared to participate in this season's Champions League after European governing body UEFA decided it could not rule on alleged events in the 2003/04 domestic season.

"FC Porto have been admitted to the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League, following a ruling by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body," UEFA said in a statement.
