Bent: Twitter rant aided Sunderland switch

Darren Bent admitted that his infamous X-rated Twitter rant had paid off after he was unveiled as a Sunderland player.

The striker blasted Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy on his Twitter page for apparently holding up his transfer but sealed a move for a club record fee that could add up to £15m with add-ons on Wednesday night.
