Young Matildas fined over China brawl

Football Federation Australia will interview players, coaching staff and management of the Young Matildas after being fined $US4,000 ($A4,760) for Australia's part in a mass brawl against China in the under 19 women's championship earlier this week.

The Asian Football Confederation handed down the fine after the teams and backroom personnel were involved in a brawl after China scored a 2-1 win in a group B matched at Hankou Sport Culture Stadium last Monday.
