Beasley apologizes to teammates for his mistake

PRETORIA, South Africa -- DaMarcus Beasley apologized to his U.S. teammates for a mix-up that led to the second goal in a 3-0 Confederations Cup loss to Brazil.

The Americans already were trailing Thursday when Beasley failed to read a short corner kick from fellow midfielder Landon Donovan.
