Uruguay turn to Victorino against Chile

Uruguay coach Oscar Washington Tabarez has called-up Mauricio Victorino ahead of their crunch World Cup qualifier against Chile.

The Nacional defender joins the Charruas after both Andres Scotti and Carlos Valdez were ruled out having picked up injuries that kept them out of yesterday's 2-0 win over South American Qualifying Zone leaders Paraguay.

Valdez stretched a calf muscle while Scotti broke two fingers on his left hand.
