Crew's Hendrickson retires after 14 years

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Veteran Crew defender Ezra Hendrickson retired Thursday, ending a 14-year professional career that included three MLS Cup titles.

Hendrickson, who turns 37 next week, spent 12 seasons with the Crew and helped the team to its first MLS Cup championship in 2008. He also played for New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, D.C. United and Chivas USA.
