Defender Papac extends Rangers contract to 2011

Sasa Papac has signed a new deal with Rangers which extends his contract to 2011, the club have confirmed.

The Bosnian defender told the club's official website: ''I am so happy to sign a new deal with Rangers.

''To spend five years with a club like Rangers is something special and I aim to give all I can in the next three years. My dream now is to win the championship.''

Papac completed talks with Rangers chief executive Martin Bain this afternoon.
