Guadalajara in talks to land City misfit Castillo

Guadalajara have confirmed they are in talks to sign Mexico international Nery Castillo to play in the Copa Sudamericana.

The 24-year-old is in the second half of a year-long loan at Manchester City from Shakhtar Donetsk, but has not played for City this season and does not figure in Mark Hughes' plans.

While the domestic transfer window is closed in Mexico, Guadalajara could sign Castillo to play in the continental Copa Sudamericana competition.
