Spain to play exhibition against U.S.

MADRID, Spain -- Spain will play the United States in an exhibition game on June 4, coach Luis Aragones said Friday.

Aragones, speaking of the Spanish team's preparations ahead of the European Championship, said the two countries will meet in a yet to be determined location.

It will be just the third meeting between the two. Spain beat the U.S. 2-0 in a March 1992 exhibition game in Valladolid. Their only prior meeting to that was a 3-1 Spanish victory at the 1950 World ...
