Court bans soccer shoes made from kangaroos

SAN FRANCISCO -- The California Supreme Court has banned the sale of soccer cleats popularized by soccer star David Beckham and other goods made from kangaroo leather.

But the statewide prohibition -- the only one of its kind in the nation -- may be short-lived.
