Galaxy unsure over Beckham injury

Los Angeles Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas was thrilled to watch David Beckham help Real Madrid to the Spanish title on Sunday but admits he does not know how serious his star signing's injury might be.

Beckham limped off in the 66th minute of Real's decisive 3-1 win over Mallorca at the Bernabeu. Madrid overcame a 1-0 deficit with Beckham watching from the sidelines.

Lalas admitted he remains in the dark on the extent of the injury.
