Plan to bring pro soccer back to San Jose fails

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A plan to bring professional soccer back to San Jose State University failed after a developer and campus officials could not agree about how much the school should be paid.

"They came to an agreement that the deal just wasn't going to work," said Larry Carr, associate vice president for government and community relations at the university.
