Beckham sets realistic goals for MLS

MADRID - Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham insists he is not expecting his arrival at Los Angeles Galaxy to spark a revolution in American soccer.

The former England captain is moving to the USA at the end of the season after agreeing a five-year, $250 million deal.

Both the club and Major League Soccer are contributing to the package and league organizers hope the arrival of a player with such superstar status will provide a huge boost to the game in the States.
