Carvalhal switches from Braga to Beira Mar

LISBON, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Struggling Beira Mar named Carlos Carvalhal as their new coach on Thursday following the departure of Augusto Inacio to coach Greek club Ionikos.

Carvalhal resigned from Braga after only five months in the job on Wednesday citing "personal reasons" for his departure.

Beira Mar are in the relegatioon zone in the 16-team Portuguese premier league standings with just six points from nine matches.
