Rapinoe, star for Portland and U.S., out with ACL tear

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Megan Rapinoe, the University of Portland and U.S. women's soccer team forward, will miss the rest of the college season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee, the school said Monday. Rapinoe suffered the injury during the first half of Portland's 2-1 victory over Washington State on Thursday.
