Elliott completes move to Fulham from MLS

Fulham today completed the signing of New Zealand midfielder Simon Elliott on a free transfer from Columbus Crew. Elliott, who has amassed over 50 caps for his country, has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Cottagers and goes straight into the starting line-up for Sunday's FA Cup third-round clash with Leyton Orient.

The 31-year-old reached three Major League Soccer Cup Finals with Columbus Crew, the club which also supplied Carlos Bocanegra and Bryan McBride to Fulham.
