Team seeks Guinness record for game

CENTERTON, Ark. -- Athletes from the Ingram Futbol Club said they would seek a place in the Guinness Book of World Records after playing soccer for more than 26 consecutive hours during the weekend.

Event coordinator Kathy Schimmeo is preparing to submit documentation to Guinness for verification by the London-based publication. The current record is 25 hours, 35 minutes, set in Berkshire, England, in 2004.
