Three match ban for foul-mouth Tevez

RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Corinthians striker Carlos Tevez was given a three-match ban by Brazilian football's disciplinary tribunal on Friday for swearing at a referee who sent him off.

The Argentine international, signed from Boca Juniors for a South American record fee of $18 million last year, was dismissed during the 2-0 defeat by Sao Caetano. He has already served one match of the ban.
