Palace offload Ventola to Atalanta

Atalanta have clinched the signing of their former striker Nicola Ventola on a two-year contract from Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old rejoins a club that was relegated to Serie B last season and will be unveiled by the Bergamo-based club at a press conference next Tuesday.

Ventola has also previously played for Bari, Internazionale, Bologna and Siena.
