Milbrett ends exile

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The 32-year-old veteran of two Olympics and three World Cups felt a bit like a rookie. Or, more precisely, like someone riding a bicycle for the first time since childhood.

After 19 months of self-imposed exile, Tiffeny Milbrett battled a few nerves and rejoined the U.S. women's soccer team this week. A change in coaches opened the door for the return of one of the world's top all-time goal scorers.
