CHICAGO (AP) -- Tim Schulz was hired as U.S. under-20 women's
national team coach Thursday.
Schulz is charged with taking over a team that moves from the
U-19 to U-20 level as FIFA shifts its only world championship for
youth women up a year. The longtime youth coach has served as
president and CEO of the Colorado Rush club since 2000.
He served as the head coach for the Region IV Olympic
Development Program from 2000-2004 and was the assistant coach for
the U.S. U-18 men's team from 1998-2000. Read more
