Mphela retains South African place

JOHANNESBURG, March 16 (Reuters) - Racing Strasbourg striker Katlego Mphela has kept his place in South Africa's 20-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Uganda on March 26.

The 20-year-old scored for a makeshift South Africa side against the Seychelles and Mauritius last month and coach Stuart Baxter will hand him another chance in the African zone Group Two qualifier in Johannesburg.
