Killer sentenced to life in prison

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man convicted of murdering a Nebraska women's soccer star was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without parole.

Lucky Iromuanya, 23, was convicted in December of second-degree murder in the death of Jenna Cooper.

Lancaster County District Judge John Colborn delivered the sentence to a crowded courtroom that included Cooper's parents and Iromuanya's mother.
