Wrexham granted stay of execution

LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - English League One outfit Wrexham averted a winding-up order on Wednesday at least until next month after a court on Wednesday granted them more time to solve their financial problems.

The 132-year-old club, the oldest in Wales, owe more than £800,000 ($1.48 million) to the British tax authorities, according to media reports.

It has also been reported that Wrexham have substantial, unspecified debts on top of this.
