BUCHAREST, May 20 (Reuters) - After years of failing to score any major victory in international competition, Romanian club bosses are turning to a new sport: politics.

Coaches, owners, club presidents and league officials are joining an army of established politicians vying for power in municipal elections on June 6 and national elections on November 28 in the aspiring European Union country.
