Soccer fever hits Duke City

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Soccer fever is on here with Friday's rock-star-style arrival of the U.S. women's national team, making its New Mexico debut with a Sunday match against Mexico.

Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Brandi Chastain and their teammates were welcomed to the Duke City Friday afternoon with an airport baggage claim gauntlet of cheering fans, mostly young girls decked out in U.S. women's jerseys and chanting ``USA'' with welcome signs in hand.
