Ligue 1: Euro finalists' showdown

PARIS, May 7 (Reuters) - Monaco and Olympique Marseille battle it out on Sunday in an exciting Ligue 1 showdown with a strong European flavour.

'I hope this game will be a great party to celebrate our presence in two European cup finals,' said Marseille coach Jose Anigo.

For UEFA Cup finalists Marseille, honour and pride will be the only thing at stake as their Ligue 1 chances have long gone. They currently lie seventh, 17 points behind leaders Olympique Lyon.
