Nationwide: Ried undaunted by task

Newly-installed COVENTRY manager Peter Reid is confident he can propel the club into the Premiership within 12 months while operating on a shoestring budget.

Reid, who takes over from Eric Black, has been charged with the task of securing top-flight football by the end of next season with chairman Mike McGinnity announcing play-off qualification would be the minimum requirement.
