SPL: Celtic close in on championship

GLASGOW, April 2 (Reuters) - Unbeaten league leaders Celtic will win their third Scottish title in four years this weekend if they beat Hearts at home on Saturday and champions Rangers lose.

Celtic are 19 points ahead of Rangers, who are at Motherwell on Sunday, with eight games left to play.

They remain on course to become the first Scottish side to go through a season unbeaten in the modern era. Glasgow rivals Rangers are the only other side to have managed it in 1898-99.
