Monaco's credentials face Auxerre test

PARIS, March 12 (Reuters) - The French Ligue 1 will have a European flavour this weekend as leaders and Champions League quarter-finalists Monaco face a tough trip away to UEFA Cup contenders AJ Auxerre on Sunday.

Olympique Lyon, who also qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals, visit Sochaux, who ran Inter Milan close in the third round of the UEFA Cup.

After 27 games, Monaco top the standings with 58 points, four ahead of Lyon and seven clear of Paris St Germain.
