U.S. women kick off year vs. Sweden

The U.S. women play their first match of 2004 on Friday when they take on Sweden at the Four Nations Tournament in China.

The United States will be trying to win its second straight Four Nations title without the services of Mia Hamm, defender Brandi Chastain, and forward Cindy Parlow, who are being rested for this tournament.
