Former England goalkeeper David Seaman has announced his retirement after racking up over 1000 senior appearances during a career that spanned over 20-years.
The 40-year-old veteran began his career at Leeds United but made a name for himself at Arsenal and went on to claim 75 England caps.
Seaman quit international football last year and opted for a final season at Manchester City rather than retiring from the domestic scene - one season too long in his critics' opinion.
