Twelve-day camp opens for China tourney

CARSON, Calif. -- The U.S. women's soccer team, including stars Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain and Abby Wambach, will begin preparation for the Olympic year on Monday at U.S. Soccer's training center.

Coach April Heinrichs chose 27 players Tuesday for the 12-day camp, which she will cut to a 20-member roster for the Four Nations Tournament, scheduled for late January and early February in China.
