Dons hope for new year cheer

Wimbledon hope to come out of administration in January under proposals put forward by benefactor Pete Winkelman.

The Dons, rock bottom of Division One, were last week given the green light to build a permanent stadium in Milton Keynes.

And the consortium of investors headed by Winkelman now aim to put a plan to pay off the club's debts before creditors next month.
