ZURICH, Switzerland -- The U.S. national soccer team finished the year at No. 11 in the FIFA world rankings Monday.

The Americans, who were No. 12 last month, open their 2002 schedule Jan. 18 against Denmark in Carson, Calif. They start qualifying for the 2006 World Cup on June 13 against Grenada or Guyana.
