Lincoln assistant boss Gary Simpson says the players are 'still in a state of shock' after manager Keith Alexander underwent brain surgery last Friday.

Alexander is undergoing treatment in hospital following the complex operation to repair a ruptured cerebral aneurysm - a swelling of a blood vessel - which caused him to collapse last Tuesday evening.
