Russia to limit influx of foreign players

MOSCOW, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Russia will introduce a limit on foreign players in their top flight league from 2005, the country's soccer chief said on Tuesday.

'Most major football nations have some sort of a limit on foreign players and I think we should follow in the same direction beginning in 2005,' Vyacheslav Koloskov, president of the Russian Football Union (RFU), said.
