Beckett operation is a success

Stockport have declared striker Luke Beckett's knee operation a success.

Beckett, along with County trainee Danny Campbell, had cruciate ligament surgery last weekend.

Things appear to have gone according to plan, but club physio Rodger Wylde warned: 'The first period of rehab is about getting a range of movement back in the knee and then walking exercises.

'It's a critical period and Luke and Danny need to be very, very careful,' he told the club's official website.
